Measurements that I used to make this toddler mask are 7.5″ x 4.5″ inches.  You may need to make adjustments to the pattern depending on the size you need.  I recommend starting larger and cutting the pattern down.  I cut my elastic at 5″.  I cut 2 pieces of the elastic.

QUILTING EDGE TO EDGE WITH YOUR EMBROIDERY MACHINE

 

Have you ever wondered if you could quilt on your embroidery machine? The answer is, yes. In this tutorial I walk you through the process of getting your Scraptastic Scrap Quilt prepared for quilting on the embroidery machine. I will be working on my Brother 8500D and I am using a 9.5″ x 14″ hoop. I am also using Madeira polyester thread 40 wt. Quilting edge to edge on your embroidery machine is fun and comes out looking like you sent your quilt to the long armer. In this quilting edge to edge tutorial, I am using the Gnome pattern from Designs by JuJu.

While quilting with my embroidery machine, I share my thoughts on hooping and as you will see towards the end, seam ripping. Unfortunately, seam ripping is a part of a quilters life and it is no different when free motion quilting, straight line quilting or quilting on your embroidery machine.
